Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer II to perform engineering, integration, deployment, testing, configuration, and sustainment for customer SOC technologies. You will support interoperability between data sources, cybersecurity tools, and supporting infrastructure, and help develop detections, dashboards, scripts, and automation for secure, scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related field.
• Education substitution: 3 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and sustaining SOC technologies and related security analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity architecture, engineering, research, evaluation, prototyping, integration, deployment, and sustainment.
• Deploy, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Government-approved SOC technologies.
• Support integration and interoperability between SOC tools, platforms, sensors, applications, workflows, and data sources.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, test plans, diagrams, deployment records, and handoff documentation.
• Support Government change-control activities and ensure compliance.
• Develop and test detections, dashboards, scripts, analytics, interfaces, automation, and SOC capabilities.
• Tune sensors, rules, alerts, and analytics to improve detection quality and reduce false positives.
• Test and validate capabilities prior to operational deployment.
