Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Engineer II with expertise in SIEM and EDR platforms to design, implement, and optimize security monitoring across the organization.

You will develop detection use cases, automate responses, and investigate complex security challenges while collaborating with SOC, Cyber Resiliency, and engineering teams to strengthen threat detection and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cyber security work experience.
• 1+ years of SIEM or EDR specific work experience with Cortex XSIAM, Splunk, CrowdStrike, etc.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, technologies, and protocols.
• Able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day health of EDR and SIEM infrastructure.
• Tune detection use cases to reduce noise and improve fidelity.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor security trends.
• Collaborate with SOC and engineering teams to improve visibility.
• Onboard new data sources to SIEM and validate data extraction.
