Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer II to design, implement, and optimize security monitoring and endpoint detection across the enterprise. You will develop detection use cases, tune automation, and investigate complex security challenges to strengthen operations.

Collaborate with SOC, Cyber Resiliency, and engineering teams to improve visibility and reduce risk using Cortex XSIAM, Splunk, and CrowdStrike. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cybersecurity work experience.
• 1+ years handling SIEM or EDR platforms (Cortex XSIAM, Splunk, CrowdStrike).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Able to identify gaps in logging and detection and propose solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
