Job summary

Firefly Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer II to architect and implement robust security across Linux and macOS endpoints, servers, and cloud infrastructure.

You will own the Unix-based security posture, configure hardening baselines, and drive vulnerability management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to safeguard data and systems. You will lead security monitoring, incident response, and compliance efforts, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and NIST

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 2+ years of information security engineering experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CKSS, or similar; familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security measures across Linux and macOS environments.
• Secure Kubernetes clusters and containerized apps; manage images and registries.
• Monitor security tools, respond to incidents, and develop incident response plans.
• Maintain security documentation and assist with audits and compliance.
