Job summary

i3 Broadband is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as the primary security resource, advancing protection across infrastructure, systems, and data. The role balances hands‑on engineering with program governance, reporting to IT Infrastructure Manager, and partnering with multiple teams to implement robust security controls.

The engineer will lead vulnerability management, monitor security posture, and contribute to evolving security processes as the program matures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5+ years in cybersecurity/IT roles, telecom preferred.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and incident response.
• Industry certifications are valued.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security tools, logs, and threat intel; investigate activity.
• Coordinate incident response and post‑incident reviews.
• Administer vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking.
• Support security engineering, identity & access controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to reduce risk.
