Wakefern Food Corp. in New Jersey is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer to implement and improve enterprise security controls across on-premises infrastructure, network security, identity services, endpoint protection, and threat detection.

This role partners closely with infrastructure, network, server, and compliance teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture. You will independently manage assigned technologies and projects while supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering and related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise security technologies.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and Windows Server expertise.
• Ability to document procedures and communicate risk-based recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Design and optimize security technologies for on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents with runbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve visibility and response.
• Lead security projects from planning through implementation.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to track exposure and remediation.
