This role partners closely with infrastructure, network, server, application, identity management, compliance, and Security Operations Center teams to strengthen and protect the organization's security posture.

The successful candidate combines strong security engineering expertise with deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networking, and operational security. The individual will independently manage assigned technologies and projects while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the cybersecurity program.

Security Infrastructure & Network Engineering
  • Design, implement, configure, administer, and optimize enterprise security technologies supporting on‑premises infrastructure and network environments.
  • Manage and improve security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, web filtering, network access controls, endpoint protection, privileged access management, and secure remote access solutions.
  • Support platform lifecycle management, upgrades, integrations, policy tuning, and operational health monitoring.
  • Develop technical standards, security baselines, procedures, diagrams, and support documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate routine security administration, monitoring, reporting, and remediation activities.
Infrastructure Security

  • Conduct security assessments and configuration reviews to ensure compliance with established standards and security policies.
  • Support secure architecture initiatives for data center and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Vulnerability & Exposure Management
  • Operate vulnerability management processes, including asset coverage, scanning, validation, risk‑based prioritization, remediation coordination, exception tracking, and reporting.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, network, and server teams to drive timely remediation and verify closure of security findings.
  • Create metrics and dashboards communicating exposure, remediation performance, and risk trends.

  • Investigate network, endpoint, and infrastructure‑based security events and anomalies.
  • Develop detection use cases, response playbooks, operational runbooks, and escalation procedures.
  • Partner with internal teams and managed security providers to improve visibility, monitoring effectiveness, and response capabilities.
  • Participate in an on‑call or after‑hours escalation rotation as required.
Security Architecture & Project Delivery
  • Participate in security reviews for infrastructure projects, network enhancements, enterprise applications, and third‑party integrations.
  • Recommend practical security controls and compensating measures based on risk assessments and business requirements.
  • Lead assigned security projects from planning through implementation, operational transition, and ongoing measurement.
  • Coordinate effectively with vendors and support partners on technical issues, deployments, and escalations.
Required Qualifications
  • Progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, infrastructure security, systems security, or a related discipline.
  • Hands‑on experience administering enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security platforms, vulnerability management tools, SIEM platforms, network access controls, or identity security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, DNS, VPN technologies, and network segmentation concepts.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex security and infrastructure issues across multiple technology domains.
