Job summary

Link Technologies in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team for a full-time role. You will design, deploy, and manage security controls across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments to protect gaming and hospitality systems.

The position partners with IT leadership to advance security posture, respond to incidents, and ensure PCI and gaming regulatory compliance. You will build detections, dashboards, and automations to improve threat detection and response, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience in entertainment, hospitality, gaming, or high-availability environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, and secure system design.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR (Sentinel One), firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and IAM platforms.
• Experience supporting PCI DSS, NIST, and gaming regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief executives and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure architectures for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Implement and manage SIEM, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, PAM, MFA, and data-loss-prevention solutions.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and prioritize remediation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Build detection rules, automation workflows, and incident response playbooks; support CIO-led investigations.
• Provide executive dashboards, risk summaries, and strategic security recommendations.
