Job summary

Skechers is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our global team. You will build and maintain detection content, automation playbooks, and tooling for security monitoring and response, while collaborating with infrastructure and applications teams worldwide.

You will lead threat hunting, develop AI-assisted analysis workflows, and act as escalation for incidents, ensuring secure operations across the environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a dedicated cybersecurity role or equivalent IT experience
• Experience in developing, tuning, testing, and documenting detection rules and alerts
• GIAC, (ISC)2 or equivalent certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Source, integrate, and leverage log data to create insights and develop detections and dashboards
• Prioritize, test, tune, and maintain detection logic and alerts based on threat intel
• Develop and maintain documentation for detection logic, data requirements, test results, and response procedures
• Improve telemetry data quality through parsing, normalization, and logging best practices
• Lead threat hunting and purple team exercises and drive improvements in detection and response
