Job summary

Zensar is seeking a senior Data Security & Protection Specialist to design and implement data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. The role emphasizes DLP management, data classification, incident response, and regulatory compliance across ISO, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA frameworks.

The ideal candidate has 6-10 years in IT with 4+ years in data security, strong DLP experience, and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and IAM concepts.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Security and Data Protection technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Data Security and Data Protection concepts.
• Experience with DLP solutions such as Microsoft Purview, Symantec DLP, Forcepoint DLP, or similar platforms.

• Design and implement Data Security and Data Protection solutions.

• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, and compliance teams to strengthen data security posture.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures related to data protection.

• Participate in security architecture reviews and project implementations.

Experience

• Experience with SIEM/SOC operations and incident response processes.
• Knowledge of identity and access management concepts.
