Job summary

GDIT is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to design and implement CSfC-based secure communications solutions for Data-at-Rest and Data-in-Transit. The role requires in-depth CSfC knowledge and hands-on experience with CSfC capability packages to meet NSA standards.

The position involves collaborating with stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational data security and classified communication requirements while maintaining compliance and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of professional cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years with CSfC capability packages.
• Solid knowledge of secure system engineering and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with NSA CSfC program, guidelines, policies, and standards.
• DoD 8140 IAT II compliant.
• US Citizenship required.
• Clearance: Top Secret currently possessed.
• Location: Onsite / occasional hybrid allowed

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis of CSfC implementations to identify and remediate security gaps.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CSfC architecture for bothData-at-Rest (DAR)andData-in-Transit (DiT)and proven experience in creating compliant and secure systems.

Requirements

• Minimum7+ yearsof professional experience incybersecurity, with at least3 yearsof direct, hands‑on experience with CSfC capability packages.
• Solid knowledge and expertise in secure system engineering and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with the NSA's CSfC program, guidelines, policies, and standards.
• Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret
• Location: Onsite/ occasional hybrid allowed

The likely salary range for this position is $199,750 - $270,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
