Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our client’s team, based in East London, Eastern Cape. In this client-facing role, you will provide expert advice and solutions to help businesses improve their security posture, manage risks, and comply with regulations.

You will conduct assessments, develop security strategies, and assist with the implementation of security controls, staying current with threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in cybersecurity, consulting, or related technical role.
• Experience in security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis.
• Strong knowledge of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
• Familiar with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables.
• CISSP, CISA, CEH certifications are desirable.
