Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in information security, with substantial consulting or client-facing advisory work.
• Proven expertise across security domains (network, application, cloud, incident response, risk management).
• Strong knowledge of frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and regulatory requirements (e.g., POPIA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CEH are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments including vulnerability assessments, pen tests, and architecture reviews.
• Develop and deliver strategic security recommendations tailored to client needs.
• Advise on information security governance, risk management and compliance.
• Assist clients in policies, procedures and controls development and implementation.
• Lead security awareness training and workshops for client personnel.
• Manage client relationships and project engagements to ensure timely delivery.
• Stay current with threats and technologies and apply to client engagements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop new service offerings and methodologies.
• Document findings and implementation plans clearly.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the practice's growth.
