Job summary

Hose Master, LLC is seeking a cybersecurity professional to design, implement, and maintain security controls protecting our systems, networks, and data. The role involves monitoring SIEM/EDR, conducting vulnerability assessments, and leading incident response efforts.

The ideal candidate will perform risk analyses, support audits, and ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or CMMC, while collaborating with IT, engineering, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Design, implement, and maintain security controls to protect systems, networks, and data
• Monitor security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners) and respond to alerts/incidents
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and remediation planning
• Manage endpoint and network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
• Lead incident response efforts and support post-incident analysis and reporting

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CMMC, or similar frameworks
• Develop, maintain, and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and documentation
• Support internal and external audits, including evidence collection and remediation tracking
• Perform third-party risk assessments and vendor security reviews
• Maintain risk register and track mitigation activities

Security Awareness & Training

• Promote a culture of security through awareness training and best practices
• Educate employees on cybersecurity risks, phishing prevention, and compliance requirements

Collaboration & Improvement

• Partner with IT, engineering, and operations teams to embed security into systems and processes
• Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory changes
• Recommend and implement continuous improvements to the organization’s security posture
