Job summary

You will create templates, translate technical information for nontechnical users, support events and resilience storytelling, and ensure accessible content with Section 508 testing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant communications, public relations, content development, or public outreach experience.
• Experience explaining technical topics to public-sector audiences is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit fact sheets, articles, presentations, invitations, social media content, and other outreach materials for SLTT audiences.
• Develop reusable toolkit templates, graphics, and short video content that partners can adapt to support awareness and training.
• Translate research findings and technical information into accurate, accessible language for nontechnical audiences.
• Support event communications and Resilience Challenge storytelling, coordinating stakeholder clearance and Government review before release.
• Prepare accessible electronic content and coordinate Section 508 testing, corrections, and documentation.
