Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to help financial institutions, fintechs, payments providers, and other financial-services organizations manage cybersecurity risk in a rapidly evolving technology and regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, IT audit, security consulting, or a related field.
• Experience working in or serving the financial-services industry (banking, fintech, payments, etc.).
• Broad exposure to emerging financial technologies and business models (digital assets, blockchain, stablecoins, tokenization, custody).
• Ability to explain cybersecurity, third-party risk, data protection, compliance, and resilience implications of emerging tech.
• Strong governance and controls knowledge (IAM, data protection, cloud security, incident response, business continuity).
• Proven ability to learn unfamiliar technologies and translate risks into actions.
• Experience managing engagements from planning through reporting.
• Strong written, verbal, project-management, and client-relationship skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity, technology-risk, and operational-resilience engagements for banks, fintechs, and payments providers.
• Evaluate cybersecurity implications of evolving technologies and business models (digital assets, blockchain, stablecoins, tokenized assets).
• Assess risks in digital-asset custody, key management, wallet infra, and APIs.
• Help clients apply established cybersecurity principles to new products and delivery models.
• Evaluate governance, control design, third-party risk, incident response, and business continuity across ecosystems.
• Advise on relationships among banks, fintechs, program managers, and third parties.
• Assess programs against FFIEC, GLBA, NYDFS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and related guidance.
• Communicate risks and business implications to executives, risk committees, and technical teams.
• Manage engagements from planning through reporting, including scope, timeline, and budgets.
• Mentor junior professionals and grow Crowe's cybersecurity capabilities.
