Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across enterprise IT, including network, cloud, and data protection.

You will lead risk assessments, develop governance frameworks, and oversee security tool integrations to protect critical systems. A strong background in NIST/ISO frameworks and incident response is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.
• Experience designing enterprise security architectures and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, and data security.
• Oversee security controls for on-prem and cloud infrastructure with defense-in-depth.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Develop and maintain an incident response framework and governance policies.
• Mentor cybersecurity engineers and analysts; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
