Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst – Security Standards & Baselines to join the Federal Strategic Cyber group. Hybrid position based in Arlington, VA, with responsibilities across the Security Standards & Baselines section within the TIE Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or HS and 4 years in lieu of degree.
• One of CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP, Security+ CE, CySA+, PPDA, Agile IC, SNOW App Dev is required.
• Experience across FISMA, NIST SP 800-53 Rev.5, enterprise app security, CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs.
• Experience developing and executing research plans.
• Experience with Windows Server in an enterprise environment.
• Experience managing Active Directory in a multi-domain environment.
• Experience with enterprise app or server virtualization.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain final Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Security Standards & Baselines (SSB) section within the TIE Office.
• Identify, implement, and automate security workflows.
• Promote security awareness among management and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• Research, analyze, and document security threat vectors.
• Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to team members.
• Develop bulletins, alerts, and baselines aligned with policy and best practices.
• Evaluate technologies to develop baseline configurations using DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and vendor guidance.
• Respond to inquiries with clear guidance and interpretation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to align on cybersecurity standards.
• Streamline processes to improve operational efficiency and mission support.
• Manage information and content within SharePoint repositories.
