Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a cybersecurity professional in Colorado to assess cyber capabilities, analyze threat feeds, and brief senior leadership on mitigation strategies. You will work with the team to leverage cyberspace operations systems and contribute to operation plans supporting command and control.

The role requires RMF knowledge, DoD standards, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, networking, or systems administration.
• Experience applying RMF A&A and implementing RMF.
• Knowledge of RMF, risk management, and compliance standards.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• DoD 8140 Intermediate Certification required.
• Security+ certification.
• Experience with eMASS and cloud/DevSecOps.
• Strong communication and time management.

Job description

• Understand cyberspace capabilities and evaluate potential weaknesses and mitigation effectiveness for cybersecurity solutions
• Work with the team to leverage cyberspace operations systems
• Aggregate threat feeds to inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to national security
• Research and analyze dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Assess and inform operators, senior leadership, and commanders
• Contribute to development of operation plans supporting command and control

Requirements

• Experience in a cybersecurity or computer field, including supporting information assurance, networking, or systems administration
• Experience applying system security configurations to meet compliance standards
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and implementation of industry best practices, including Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Knowledge of risk management practices
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
