Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Boulder, CO. The role supports 24/7 CSOC operations, protecting critical government infrastructure and analyzing platform alerts.

Shifts include weekend nights or daytime options; you will monitor security consoles, triage events, log activity, and prepare incident reports. A background in security tools like Splunk or ArcSight is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1+ year experience.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, Windows/Linux.
• Familiarity with security alerts, logs and incident analysis.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security consoles and identify platform alerts (SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, EDR).
• Perform initial analysis and triage of security events for severity and impact.
• Maintain logs and create initial incident reports for escalation.
• Review network traffic patterns and system logs for anomalies.
• Assist with health and maintenance checks of security tools.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless shift handoffs.
• Work flexible shifts to complete a 40-hour work week.
