Job summary

Vaco is seeking a Cybersecurity Administrator for a hands-on role in the Northern Cincinnati area. You will support and strengthen the company’s cybersecurity across Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise infrastructure, and OT systems.

Responsibilities include managing EDR/SIEM, vulnerability management, and firewall administration, while contributing to security awareness, DR/BC, and the maturation of the overall cybersecurity program.

Qualifications

• This role requires hands-on cybersecurity experience with security tools and programs.
• Strong ability to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
• Experience communicating complex risks to technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, and other security tools.
• Support Microsoft 365 security, Defender, email security, DLP, MFA, and CA.
• Monitor security alerts and assist with incident response.
• Manage firewall rules and security across AD and Azure AD.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support security within manufacturing, OT, and industrial environments.
• Assist with vendor risk assessments, security awareness training, DR, and BC.
• Help mature the cybersecurity program with tools, processes, and controls.
