Cytactic is defining a new category in cybersecurity - Cyber Incident Response Management (CIRM). As AI-driven attacks accelerate to machine speed, Cytactic's agentic platform enables real-time, cross-functional response that contains and manages cyber incidents from preparation through resolution.

The Account Executive role covers Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, and Phoenix markets, selling cybersecurity and incident-response solutions to CISOs and security leaders.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years selling cybersecurity, IR, MDR, or related security services
• Direct experience selling to CISOs and senior security leaders
• Proven track record with channel partners (VARs, MSSPs, IR firms)
• Ability to hunt, create pipeline and close net-new logos
• Deep understanding of ransomware, IR readiness, and risk

Responsibilities

• Build and execute targeted outbound strategies to engage CISOs and security leadership
• Maintain a healthy pipeline across Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, Phoenix
• Drive pipeline through MSSPs, VARs, IR firms, and strategic partners
• Position IR, MDR, threat intelligence, and security services with executive value
• Own the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation and close
• Collaborate with IR teams, delivery, marketing, and leadership to accelerate deals
• Maintain CRM hygiene and provide weekly forecasts
