Job summary

General Dynamics - IT in Reston, VA is seeking a seasoned Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst (Fusion) to identify threats, assess risk, and produce analytical reports for executive audiences on complex security incidents.

You will translate indicators into actionable countermeasures, work with cross-functional teams, and develop IOCs/threat intel products. DoD 8570 baselines and TS/SCI clearance are preferred; polygraph may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT level II (Sec+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, CND) certification required before start date.
• DoD 8570/8140 CSSP Analyst (CEH, CySA+, CFR) certification required within first 120 days.
• GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) or equivalent within 120 days of employment.
• Security Clearance TS/SCI and ability to obtain a Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential cyber threats, determine risk levels, and produce analytical reports for audiences.
• Occasionally present findings to senior executives and translate indicators for lay audiences.
• Work with security teams to recommend countermeasures and detect threats.
• Discover adversary campaigns and analyze logs, SIEMs, and other data to identify compromises.
• Collaborate with CNDSPs and IC agencies on intrusions and share threat intel data.
• Develop IOCs and signatures to support active defense and monitoring.
