Job summary

Trellix is a global cybersecurity leader protecting organizations across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. We seek a Cyber Threat Hunter to join a remote US team in a high-demand, classified setting. You will apply threat hunting, incident response, and threat intelligence skills to identify and mitigate adversaries.

TS/SCI clearance is required. Up to 25% travel may be needed. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and operations, delivering actionable reports

Qualifications

• Understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, detection capabilities, and countermeasures.
• 5+ years of Threat Hunting or similar Federal Government capability.
• Knowledge of DoD IT RMF, USCYBERCOM, IC and JFHQ-DoDIN.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 compliant cybersecurity certification.
• Experience with Windows, Mac, Linux OS hardening and artifacts.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python/PowerShell/Go/C#).

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform client work related to Trellix product service offerings.
• Create end-of-engagement reports describing engagement findings and analysis.
• Develop and maintain intellectual capital within Solution Services around Trellix product line.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures.
• Maintain technical proficiency through training and self-study.
• Provide knowledge sharing across the Solution Services team.
• Deliver training when required.
• Interact with managers and analysts for cost/schedule monitoring and invoicing.
