Job summary

SarelaTech is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to support a DoD cybersecurity mission at Fort Meade. You will proactively search for threats, analyze logs, and coordinate with Threat Detection and Incident Response to generate hunting leads and mitigate vulnerabilities.

The role includes building threat-hunting strategies, developing automation tools, and performing incident response for critical security events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Pen Testing, reverse engineering or forensics.
• 3+ years analyzing attacker techniques across attack stages.
• Experience with multiple operating systems and large data sets.
• Ability to translate threat intel into actionable guidance and build hunting narratives.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for threats and anomalous activity across networks.
• Analyze raw logs and network data; collaborate with Threat Detection and Incident Response teams.
• Develop threat-hunting strategies and automation tools to identify sophisticated adversaries.
• Perform incident response for critical security incidents.
