Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Cyber Hunt Analyst to apply cyber security, data science, and DCO knowledge to support operations and develop automated capabilities. You will collect customer requirements, generate use cases, and train end users while coordinating threat-hunting activities across platforms.

The role involves presenting findings, collaborating with customers, and maintaining data feed documentation, with travel up to 40% CONUS/OCONUS and on-site work in Fort Meade, MD.

Qualifications

• Minimum nine plus (9+) years in cyber security operations with a relevant degree.
• Seven (7) years with a Master's in related field.
• Thirteen (13) years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Champion Threat Awareness Sharing Capability (TASC) suite of applications.
• Conduct threat hunt operations on assigned Big Data Platform(s) – BDP (JCRS-D).
• Present threat hunt findings through live, interactive sessions in person or remote.
• Assist customers with their threat hunting operations.
• Collaborate with customers to define requirements and operational gaps to maximize satisfaction.
• Provide data enrichment and functions to enhance customer experience.
• Perform QA checks on data resident on the platform.
• Evaluate and analyze new data feeds for relevance and usability.
• Support analytic requests (queries, visualizations, dashboards).
• Leverage statistical modeling to uncover patterns and translate to visualizations.
• Synthesize diverse data streams into data products for customer progress insights.
• Provide real-time customer support during working hours.
• Maintain awareness of emerging cyber threats for action and notification.
• Document data feeds and deliverables.
• Support demonstrations of platform capabilities.
