ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Cyber Threat Hunter to proactively protect enterprise environments by analyzing network, endpoint, and log data to detect and eradicate advanced threats. The role establishes baselines, investigates adversary tactics, and strengthens incident response through automation and detection engineering.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/Cybersecurity.
• 4 years of cybersecurity/technical security experience.
• Ability to perform system administrator-level analysis across multiple platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying adversary TTPs.
• Knowledge of intrusion detection methodologies and security policies.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct proactive threat hunting across networks, endpoints, and datasets to identify and isolate advanced threats.
• Analyze logs from multiple sources to detect suspicious behavior and validate threat activity.
• Establish baseline patterns for normal traffic and system activity to improve anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts to recommend new alerts and monitoring logic.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline threat hunting and reduce response time.
• Research adversary TTPs and develop investigative leads from threat intelligence.
• Create incident documentation and recommendations to improve response maturity.
• Examine malware to determine threat nature, scope, and impact.
• Apply reverse engineering to support vulnerability research and understand malicious code.
