Job summary

Titan Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Hunter in Columbus, OH to support the Defense Logistics Agency. The role focuses on proactive defense, threat hunting, and incident response within a mission-critical program.

You will analyze logs and network data, develop hunting strategies, and build automated tools using Splunk, Python, and PowerShell to outpace adversaries. A TS clearance is required to contribute to sensitive work with national security implications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in threat intelligence or incident response.
• 3+ years analyzing attacker techniques across attack stages.
• Knowledge of security challenges across multiple operating systems.
• Ability to translate threat intelligence into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Initiate investigations to identify unusual activity indicating a threat actor on the network.
• Analyze raw log and network data with incident response analysts to generate hunting leads.
• Cross-reference enterprise trends with current threat intelligence.
• Identify mitigations for key vulnerabilities and lead analysis if a compromise is identified during hunting.
• Develop threat hunting strategies to increase detection capabilities.
• Build hunting tools and automation to identify sophisticated adversaries.
• Perform incident response for critical security incidents.
