Job summary

Toyota Information Security is seeking a Cyber Threat Emulation Lead to design and execute advanced red team engagements for Toyota’s global enterprise. You will build AI-assisted tooling, orchestrate multi‑stage attack simulations, and work directly with defenders to measurably improve controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in information security with adversary simulations and AI-assisted tooling experience.
• Extensive experience in red teaming, adversary simulation, penetration testing, or offensive security.
• Ability to plan and lead complex, end-to-end security engagements in an enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of attack techniques across identity, endpoints, networks, cloud, applications, AI, and security infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience developing offensive security tooling or automation.
• Ability to clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end red team engagements that reproduce realistic adversary behaviors across diverse environments.
• Develop custom offensive security tooling and reusable attack capabilities.
• Build AI-assisted workflows for reconnaissance, attack-path discovery, and vulnerability analysis.
• Engineer multi-agent systems to adapt attack paths and coordinate simulations at scale.
• Integrate LLMs with internal telemetry to prioritize offensive security workflows.
• Test AI-enabled applications and systems, including model interfaces and data flows.
• Collaborate with SOC, detection engineers, incident responders, and threat intel teams to improve controls.
