Job summary

Node in Arlington, VA is seeking a Cyber Technology Researcher to join a government-focused team supporting on-site incident response. You will track cases from submission to capability delivery, documenting requirements and overseeing implementation of solutions aligned to mission needs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT cyber operations, strong federal cybersecurity knowledge, and experience with pilots and production transitions, change management, and DevOps practices. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
• Or HS Diploma with 7–9 years of directly relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct capability-based research into tech solutions addressing customer needs.
• Evaluate solutions against functional and technical requirements; may include hands-on testing.
• Stay updated on emerging market technologies impacting operations and analysis.
• Collaborate to maintain inventory of technologies, tools, and data holdings.
• Engage with customers to clarify requirements and align tech with mission needs.
