FEDITC, LLC is seeking an Engineering Subject Matter Specialist (SSE Cyber) to support DoD and intelligence clients in the Warren, MI area. The SSE Cyber will lead security engineering efforts across the system life cycle, balancing cost, schedule, performance, and risk to deliver a coherent security capability.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in system security engineering or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• DoD/Military training or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• Define stakeholder security objectives and system security requirements.
• Develop security perspectives within system architecture and design.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and susceptibility in the system lifecycle.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analyses.
• Design and implement proactive and reactive security solutions.
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents promptly.
• Advise on security considerations to inform systems engineering decisions.
• Evaluate costs and benefits of security functions for trade-offs.
• Support Program Protection Planning per DoD guidelines.
• Apply multidisciplinary security expertise to address requirements.
