Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer within the Program Protection Organization. The role focuses on embedded System Security Engineering for DoD weapon systems, involving design, implementation, and verification of secure architectures.

The candidate will work to mitigate threats across the product lifecycle, validate security requirements, and ensure compliance with DoD standards. On-site full time with competitive benefits and a path to security clearances.

Qualifications

• Experience in DoD systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Implementing SSE requirements on DoD systems to meet U.S. government standards.
• Experience validating security requirements for DoD systems.
• DoD 8140 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded SSE design and implementation across DoD weapon systems.
• Assess and mitigate security threats and risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Validate requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for embedded systems.
• Design, deploy, and maintain SSE architectures and countermeasures.
