Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Cyber Systems Engineers to support information systems, network design, operation, and security for our Edwards AFB, CA campus. On-site, full-time roles requiring a Secret clearance and willingness to travel.

The role encompasses lab infrastructure, desktop virtualization, security monitoring, and test station setup across multiple classification levels, with opportunities to develop advanced cybersecurity and avionics integration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant engineering experience or Master's with 3 years.
• Current in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance or Continuous Evaluation participation.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance prior to start date.
• Security+ certification (or greater) required for consideration.
• Experience with Windows Server and Desktop management, MCM, and PowerShell.
• Strong experience with VMware and related virtualization technologies.
• Experience in Active Directory infrastructure management.
• Experience administering Atlassian, Coverity, and Fortify web apps.
• Extensive knowledge of access controls and monitoring tools for security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage lab infrastructure.
• Lead desktop virtualization and host system administration.
• Conduct network and security tasks for multiple development environments.
• Develop software tools to assist customer development and maintenance.
• Configure HITL testing and simulations.
• Support avionics integration and aircraft simulations testing environments.
• Set up and operate test stations (MSITS, VSITS) for system testing.
• Implement secure cyber networking between test systems.
• Document procedures, results, and best practices.
