Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support information system lifecycle activities for flight test networks at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. On-site, full-time role at VSFB, CA with a Secret clearance requirement.

Responsibilities include network maintenance, security design, and documentation; candidates will work within the Launch Execution Networking Team to support mission-critical systems and collaborations across DoD networks.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree; an additional 4 years may substitute.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance at time of application and able to obtain SAP approval.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and IOSXE switches/routers; Unix/Linux/Windows environments.
• Knowledge of network protocols, LANS, VLANs, OSPF, STP, LACP, GRE; DoD 8140 cyber requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day network maintenance, installation, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of switched networks and equipment.
• Research and implement security solutions for network infrastructure.
• Assist in engineering network solutions for new and existing systems.
• Document network information including switch/router configurations and IP devices.
• Participate in project planning and track vulnerabilities; monitor and optimize network performance.
