Job summary

Lockheed Martin's C2BMC team in Colorado Springs is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE) to tune and optimize cybersecurity tools such as ESS, Elastic, ConfigOS, and Tanium, enhancing threat detection and system performance.

You will build custom security dashboards, integrate security products across the infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and manage upgrades to ensure the latest features and patches are applied. A TS clearance and 8140 certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active Government-Issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at time of application; responsible for maintaining 8140 certifications throughout contract
• Active Top Secret security clearance at time of application; required to start
• Windows/RHEL system administration experience, installing, tuning, and troubleshooting Cyber Tools (ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, Splunk/Elastic); scripting audit tools

Responsibilities

• Tune and optimize cybersecurity tools (ESS, Elastic, ConfigOS, Tanium) to enhance system performance and threat detection capabilities
• Create custom dashboards to visualize security data for quick issue/trend identification
• Integrate various security products ensuring seamless communication and data flow across the infrastructure; troubleshoot and resolve issues; manage upgrades and deployments to apply latest features and patches
