Job summary

Markesman Group seeks a System Administrator in Annapolis Junction, MD for a high-stakes cyber environment. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance with FS Poly and strong systems management and cybersecurity skills to maintain mission-critical systems and networks for global initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with FS Poly is required.
• Strong systems management and cybersecurity skills for mission-critical environments.
• Experience in configuring, securing, and maintaining multi-user computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• System Operations: Administer day-to-day operations, configurations, upgrades, and patches of servers and networks.
• Cybersecurity Management: Enforce security protocols and monitor system vulnerabilities in a classified environment.
• Incident Response: Quickly diagnose issues and drive effective resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams and maintain accurate system documentation.
