Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber Strategy team in the United States seeks a Cyber Security & Risk Strategy Consultant to help clients navigate threat landscapes through strategy, risk assessments, and operating model design.

You will support PMO activities, manage cross-functional workstreams, and deliver comprehensive recommendations across domestic and global engagements, with travel up to 50% and a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in cyber security, information security, or technology risk.
• 2+ years in consulting or large project teams.
• Experience with cyber risk or maturity assessments, operating model design, or PMO for cyber/tech initiatives.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, 800-53, ISO 27001.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.
• Immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber strategy engagements across service types (risk/maturity assessments, target operating model, technology risk).
• Provide PMO support for cyber/tech programs (track milestones, RAID logs, cross-functional coordination).
• Develop methods, templates, and deliverables for cyber strategy and transformation services.
• Assess client cyber/IT environments (infrastructure, databases, apps, processes).
• Design target operating models (organization, governance, roles, processes).
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and Deloitte teams to support engagements.
• Deliver project work through research, analysis, documentation, recommendations, and implementation.
