Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Cyber Strategy to help clients strengthen cybersecurity programs and align security investments with business objectives. You will lead engagements, assess programs, and develop strategies that drive enterprise resilience across industries.

You will manage workstreams, mentor teams, and translate insights into actionable recommendations, while contributing to business development and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and approximately 5+ years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity assessments, governance, strategy, operating models, and program improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, PCI DSS).
• Willingness to travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cybersecurity strategy, governance, and transformation engagements across industries.
• Assess cybersecurity programs, operating models, governance structures, policies, standards, and controls; identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, target operating models, governance frameworks, roadmaps, and executive-level recommendations.
• Manage engagement workstreams, lead teams, and ensure high-quality client service within timelines and budgets.
• Contribute to business development, proposals, account growth, and thought leadership.
