If you are pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a cybersecurity-related field, you will join a team tackling sponsor problems for U.S.

government agencies. You will be mentored by top experts, collaborate with full-time staff and other interns to design and implement applications, and develop novel approaches to cybersecurity in

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or other cybersecurity-related technical degree.
  • Have experience developing software using Java/Kotlin, Python, C#, Rust, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, C/C++, or equivalent.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in teams.
  • Have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
  • Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret Clearance. If selected, you will be subjected to a government security investigation, and you should meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information up to the Top Secret level. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Mentored by top experts to learn cyber capability development.
  • Collaborate with staff and interns to design and implement apps for sponsor problems.
  • Develop novel approaches to cybersecurity in operational environments.
  • Explore promising new research areas and apply ideas to today’s problems.
  • Share approaches and methods with others team members, management, and government decision makers
