Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks internship candidates to tackle complex cyber challenges for DoD sponsors. Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Knowledge and application of cybersecurity principles.
• Experience in independent problem solving.
• Knowledge or experience with cybersecurity engineering, software development, embedded systems, network design/configuration, data analytics, reverse engineering, AI/ML techniques, autonomy, or system exploitation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Eligibility to obtain Interim Secret and final Secret level security clearances (U.S. citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a technical cyber team performing engineering, development, and integration tasks.
• Contribute to vulnerability identification and cyber tool evaluation.
• Assist in software development, design analysis and overall cyber solution implementation for constrained environments.
