Qualifications

• Full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate STEM degree.
• Majoring in STEM with Computer Science, Cyber Security, Cyber Software or Systems focus.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• Pursuing an overall GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher (Preferred).
• Active security clearance (Preferred).
• Experience with debugging and/or system analysis tools (Preferred).
• Experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) (Preferred).
• Experience with reverse engineering (Preferred).
• Experience with virtual machine technology (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD workflows (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• This position involves developing solutions to national security threats, including kernel development, reverse engineering, or vulnerability research of network and communication systems.
• Candidates should have basic software development skills and familiarity with scripting languages; knowledge of computer networking, embedded programming, and software configuration management is a plus.
