Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Automation Software Engineer to modernize a legacy system with a microservices-based stack. You will implement automated test frameworks using Playwright and Cucumber, perform load and chaos testing, and contribute to CI/CD and Agile processes in a collaborative team environment.

Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 9+ years or a Master's with 7+ years, plus an active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.

The Work: Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for:

• Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
• Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright.
• Knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology.
• Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing.
• Agile development and delivery of software.
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, plus 9 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.
• An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI poly within 7 years).

Desired Skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00
