Lockheed Martin seeks an experienced cybersecurity professional to design, develop, document, test, and maintain full spectrum cyber solutions. You will automate secure systems for cyber operations, conduct vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and penetration testing to mitigate threats.

Applicants should have a STEM degree, DoD 8140/8570 certifications, and 9+ years in relevant roles while pursuing a DoD Secret clearance. This is a high-skill role with complex security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• DoD 8140/8570 certification knowledge (CISSP, CAP, etc.).
• 9+ years in cybersecurity, systems engineering or information assurance.
• Experience securing Linux/Windows in enterprise/mission environments.
• Automation tooling experience (Ansible) and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability tools.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related STEM discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Possess an approved DoD 8140 (8570) demonstrated knowledge of capability and baseline certification (CISSP, CAP, etc.)
• Minimum 9+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, information assurance or relevant experience
• Experience securing Linux and/or Windows operating systems in enterprise or mission environments.
• Experience with Automation tools specifically Ansible and familiarity with deployment automation
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as the following and associated documentation:
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tools.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (or higher, as required).
  

Desired Skills

• Experience supporting DoD weapon systems, aviation platforms, or classified mission systems.
• Experience with Containerization technologies to include Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Experience with Virtualization platforms/hypervisors
• Experience implementing container security and Kubernetes hardening.
• Familiarity with SIEM Tools deployment and administration specifically ArcSight
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and cyber resiliency engineering.
• Experience supporting environmental handling:
• Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
• Air-gapped or disconnected systems

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $135700.00 - $251900.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
