Job summary

EY is seeking a Cyber - SOAR Engineer, Manager for the New York area to lead design, delivery, and optimization of security automation solutions. You will guide engagements across security operations, incident response, and engineering teams, driving measurable value for clients.

You will oversee architecture, playbook development, and integrations with SIEM/EDR/XDR, IAM, and cloud platforms, while mentoring a cross-functional team and maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6–10 years in security automation or SOAR engineering.
• Experience leading enterprise SOAR or security automation projects.
• Hands-on with REST APIs, web services, SDKs and custom integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOAR engagements from strategy through deployment and ops handoff.
• Advise clients on automation strategy, governance, and platform selection.
• Own solution architecture for scalable, secure enterprise SOAR implementations.
• Design playbooks for incident triage and remediation and oversee integrations.
• Manage scope, risks, and delivery milestones with focus on client outcomes.
