Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Cyber Security Task Lead in Linthicum Heights, MD. The role serves as the primary point of contact for the DoD directorate and oversees contractor activities to satisfy program requirements.

You will implement compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC), manage cybersecurity risk assessments, and drive IT and security initiatives across project teams while coordinating government and contractor communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading IT and security programs.
• Experience budgeting and multi-year IT planning.
• Proven information security program leadership.
• Experience advancing digital equity and accessibility.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary POC between Government and Contractor leadership and oversee contractor personnel.
• Implement and maintain compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CMMC.
• Oversee cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and security audits.
• Coordinate tasks across project teams and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Lead crisis response efforts during major breaches.
• Oversee third-party security vendor selection and security training programs.
• Assist Government with budgeting and investment management processes related to contract execution.
