Peraton is seeking a Cyber R&D Lead/Service Manager for our Linthicum, MD office to support a DoD customer. You will guide cyber investigations, digital forensics, threat analysis, and mission support in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• 10+ years of experience; may have supervisory or lead experience.
• In-depth knowledge of network/infrastructure and firewalls.
• Knowledge of Cloud, Big Data, Perimeter Security, and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• At least two years in infrastructure analysis, digital tech analysis, network/firewall monitoring, SIEM usage, or technical reporting/briefing.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and support of multiple pilots and projects for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
• Lead transformative initiatives to deliver Cybersecurity-as-a-Service for the DIB.
• Monitor CDC perimeter network traffic for malicious activity.
• Identify capability needs and KPIs for future CDC offerings.
• Conduct AoAs evaluating performance and costs of alternatives.
• Collaborate with team, customers, and external stakeholders on technical matters.
• Create and disseminate priority alerts to CDCs based on threats.
• Provide briefings and trainings to customers and stakeholders.
• Manage a team of 3-5 employees; conduct periodic performance check-ins.
