Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cyber R&D Analyst/Service Manager in our Linthicum, MD office to support the DoD. You will work on cyber investigations, digital forensics, and threat analysis as part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include managing pilots, delivering Cybersecurity-as-a-Service for the DIB, and monitoring network activity to detect threats, with opportunities to brief stakeholders and provide trainings.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years, or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Strong network and firewall knowledge.
• Cloud, Big Data, Perimeter Security, MITRE ATT&CK.
• 2+ years in infrastructure analysis and SIEM use.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support pilots and projects for the DIB.
• Lead efforts to deliver Cybersecurity-as-a-Service for the DIB.
• Monitor CDC perimeter network traffic for malicious activity.
• Define capability needs and KPIs for future offerings.
• Perform analyses of Alternatives (AoAs) evaluating options and costs.
• Engage with team members, customers, and external stakeholders to address technical issues.
• Create and disseminate priority alerts to CDCs based on threats.
• Provide briefings and trainings to customers.
