Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC is seeking a Senior Director of Cyber Security to lead enterprise-wide security strategy and drive resilience across healthcare, life sciences, and other regulated environments.

You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to advance risk-based security programs, improve control maturity, and protect critical information assets. A minimum of 12+ years in cyber security with 5+ years in leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of cybersecurity experience in regulated environments (healthcare, life sciences).
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams or programs.
• Familiarity with GxP, FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, data integrity concepts.
• Experience defining and executing enterprise cyber security strategy and operating models.
• Experience overseeing security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber risk.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce enterprise risk and strengthen security posture.
• Lead cyber security programs across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and governance.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and business leaders to embed security requirements.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response for security incidents with internal and external teams as needed.
• Drive improvement of controls, policies, standards, and dashboards aligned to frameworks and internal requirements.
• Evaluate threats, identify gaps, and prioritize remediation with technology and product teams.
• Support audit, certification, and regulatory activities ensuring measurable security practices.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team with coaching and prioritization.
• Communicate cyber risk and program performance to executives and senior leadership.
