Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist for a long term contract at Camp Lejeune, NC. You will secure information systems, enforce security standards, and ensure compliance with Government requirements for security on these systems.

The role requires Active Secret clearance, Day 1 CompTIA Sec+ CE, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II. You will perform HBSS compliance, incident handling, and support COOP/DR planning in a challenging federal environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with Sec+ CE required on day 1.
• Minimum 3–5 years of general IT experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
• Background investigation, drug screen, and COVID safety compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Operate IS data security across availability, integrity, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.
• Implement and monitor security measures for networks and communications.
• Perform HBSS compliance checks and identify cybersecurity incidents.
• Support COOP/DR plans and IS/network certification.
