Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Cyber Security Specialist II- Vulnerability Analyst to prioritize vulnerabilities, communicate remediation needs, and document a controlled vulnerability posture. You will work with PST/IST teams to ensure timely risk mitigation and compliance with DoD RMF processes.

This on-site role at Offutt AFB, NE requires TS/SCI eligibility and extensive DoD experience, including familiarity with NIST 800-53 and RMF tools, to support the AFNWC C2 division.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen
• Clearance: TS w/SCI eligibility
• CISSP or equivalent IAM II or DoD 8140 Level II
• Education: High School Diploma (Bachelor's preferred)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 15 years relevant experience, including 5 years supporting the DoD
• Knowledge of DoDD 8500.1, DoDD 8520.1, RMF DOD 8570.01M, and DoDI 8580.1 requirements

Responsibilities

• Review findings from security tools and prioritize remediation.
• Develop remediation guidance for PST and IST engineering teams.
• Track findings from identification through closure.
• Provide risk analysis for vulnerabilities, incidents, and change requests.
• Create and maintain security baselines and documentation.
• Coordinate with IT staff to implement solutions meeting customer needs.
